Prayers for the prevention and abolishment of sex trafficking

Our prevention work begins and ends with Jesus Christ. Jesus has come to set the captives free (Luke 4:18). Sex trafficking thrives when it is hidden in the shadows. It becomes a well-kept secret—an out-of-sight, out-of-mind tragedy with victims who are unable to speak for themselves.

Lord, I pray for the end of human trafficking in all parts of the world. Lord, I pray that the light of Your glory will expose everything done in darkness. Let the issue of sex trafficking be brought to the forefront of our nation. Raise up voices for the voiceless victims. Let the public become educated about the issue. I pray for the righteous organizations who seek to bring an end to this social tragedy that they will have all of the resources to create social awareness and give ways to eradicate sex trafficking around the world. In Jesus’s name I pray. Amen.
